MADUMAYU stands for open, creative, and respectful exchange. To ensure this, the following terms of use and netiquette apply to your use of this website – especially when commenting on posts. These rules are in place to protect you, other users, and the integrity of my site. Please also respect copyright and the rights of third parties. Posts or comments that include protected content (such as images, texts, or videos) without the appropriate usage rights are not permitted.

 

2. Comments: What Is Allowed?

You are warmly invited to comment on the posts on my site – openly, constructively, honestly, and anonymously if you prefer.
Please note:

  • You are allowed to comment anonymously.
  • Alternatively, you may provide a pseudonym, your real name, or an email address – but this is entirely optional.
  • You do not need to provide any personal data in order to participate by leaving comments.
  • Every comment is manually reviewed before it is published.
  • Comments that appear to originate from automated or manipulative sources (e.g. mass-generated AI comments) may also be rejected.

  • Incitement to violence, extremist content, or glorification of criminal acts
  • Content with Nazi ideology, conspiracy theories, or other inhumane or misanthropic themes
  • deliberate spread of misinformation
  • Spam, advertising, or links to untrustworthy websites
  • Misrepresentation of identity or origin
  • Repeated posting of identical content

In the event of violations, I reserve the right to withhold publication or delete content.

 

6. Anonymity & Data Protection (GDPR/DSGVO)

Your privacy is important to me. You can comment without registering and without providing any personal data. The following rules apply:

  • Comments can be submitted anonymously.
  • If you voluntarily provide a pseudonym, name, or email address, your data will be processed for specific purposes and in accordance with the GDPR (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and f).
  • Your IP address is not stored permanently. It is only processed temporarily to prevent abuse (e.g. spam). Afterwards, it is either anonymized or deleted.
  • No data is shared with third parties.

7. Technical Protection via GDPR-Compliant CAPTCHA

To prevent spam and automated bots, this site uses a GDPR-compliant CAPTCHA system in the background.

  • No data is transmitted to third parties.
  • The CAPTCHA challenge is processed server-side and in an anonymized manner.
  • This functionality is solely intended to protect against automated misuse.

 

8. Legal Notices

  • You, as the author, are solely responsible for the content of your comments.
  • In the event of a substantiated suspicion of criminal content, I may be legally obligated to pass data on to law enforcement authorities (§ 10 TMG in conjunction with GDPR Recital 49).
  • Comments that violate German law (e.g. § 185 StGB insult, § 130 StGB incitement to hatred, § 86a StGB use of unconstitutional symbols, or content likely to endanger public order or incite hatred against social groups) will be deleted and may be reported.

 

9. Changes & Validity

I reserve the right to update these Terms of Use and the Netiquette at any time. The version currently in effect is legally binding.
